Hi Jonnsal,

Have you tried re-setting the imobiliser by disconecting the battery? When you come to put it back on flash the plus lead after connecting the minus. It worked for me on a Rover I once owned. Can't hurt to try.

First check he hasnt attempted to hot wire the car - i.e. ripped out some wires under the dash or in the engine bay.

Immobiliser issue?

Has your key been open at anytime, e.g. to change the keyfob batteries? The PATS chip may fall out -

Do you have another key?

Pump issues:

Check fuse and relay

The PATS chip certainly can cause problems for such a tiny piece of plastic.

The slightest dirt on CPS will stop it starting and is easy to clean very quickly.

The key come apart and the chip fell on floor so i put it back in but also tried other spare key no wires been touched it does start eventually but runs lumpy and I have to use jump leads as it the battery goes flat cause it turns over and over
